The Romanian folklore
Our foiklore is special and it makes you understand everything. It's
more melodic than a melody, but this without realizing it. Our folkore
is tender, ironical, joyful and serious. When we say folklore we understand
the totality of all artistically creations of Romanian customs or popular
traditions. A very beautiful custom in our country is painting the eggs
on the day of Easter. Here in Romania we also have many popular costumes
typical to each region. In the region of Maramures the material that is
used for the popular costumes are cloth, cotton and wool. The women's
costumes have a sober appearance because of the cut and very beautiful
colors. The shirts have a square cut all around the neck, and
the sleeves are a little waved. the embroidered ornaments are all around
the neck, on the shoulders and sleeves. Over the dress they put an apron
knitted with wool. The women wear kerchiefs on their heads, that they
wear daily or in holy days. The men's costumes are made of cloth and wool.
The
chemise is very long. At the waist the chemise is tight with a belt. Men's
also wear a sheepskin coat embroidered. The cap is made of felt or lamb's
wool. Both the man and women wear laced moccasins. The kids costumes are
identical to the grown-ups costumes. The popular costumes are proof of
our existence in Romania.

Popular costume
At holidays, with the occasion of the New year, at dance,
weddings andfunerals, are dressing costumes kept from centuries from
their ancestors. The most steady in keeping the traditional costumes
are casinencele and trotusencele witch are tussling the linen so wonted
and so appreciate,
from which their are doing their clothing.In general the women's and
men's traditional popular costumes from Trotush area are part of the
Moldovean costumes. The contact of the ethnographic area Trotush at
the contact with some bigger areas like Neamt, Bacau, Vrancea and the
border of two historical provinces:Moldovia and Transilvania gavel birth
to many variants of costumes which are different. Women's costumes :
The women's costumes are much more adorned in comparison with men's
costumes , the women's costumes are making a large game of ornamental
types . The women's costumes is different from season to season and
depends of age and destination(for work holidays).The holidays women's
costume is according a specials attentions.The hirts,tinsels,belts,are
making part from the wonderful popular costumes.At Bogdanesti the people
was weaning
the red fez and on front a top from tinsel put on a ribbon.
Men's costume The men's costume from Trotus is sovern,the only collored
pieces are chimirul and piptaru.Men are wearing round hats with little
edegs,waistcoats.Summer's costume at youths and old is impressive throw
shirts white completed by the black hat. In the villages between Palanca
and Comanesti wore round hats the shirt with the shirt is composed from
two pieces, indical ornamental.
