About our school:
· It is situated in the center of Eforie Nord, a small town on
the Romanian Black Sea Coast.

· It has been built in 1963.
· It has 10 classrooms.
· It has a Geography cabinet.
· It has an Info lab with 12 PC, E-mail and full time Internet
access.
· It has a handball playground.
· Since 2002 it has new furniture in all classes
The teachers
In our school there are 30 teachers: 10 primary level teachers and 20
secondary level teachers
The students
In the school year 2002/2003 in our school are learning 448 students,
as it follows:
196 students in primary school.
252 students in secondary school
Students results:
Awards at the local contests in Romanian and Mathematics
Between 1997-2000 third and fourth places at the local Football competitions.
At the end of the school year 2001/2002 99.2% of our students passed the
final exams.
Instruction Proposal
The basic curriculum offers course of Math, Physics, Romanian, English,
French, History, Geography, Music, Sport, Draw art.

· "Sing & Smile"- classes with the American volunteer.

· "The small football players" (secondary grade)
· Ecological projects-"Coast Watch", "Earth Day"
· "Let's know more about computers" (primary and secondary
grade)
Infosea 2002
Infosea 2002 has been a national conquest between primary school students.
They had to work in Paint and Word and they made great art products.
There participated more than 150 students from 5 schools of Romania.
European projects
¨ Comenius 1 project "Culture and customs" in partnership
with Volksshule Eussenheim, Germany, Colegio Publico Cabuenes, Spain and
Direzione Didattica "Michele Coppino", Torino, Italy (2002/2005)
¨ Comenius 2.2 project "English for teaching history" (2001)
¨ Since 2000 our school is member of MyEurope and ESchola
I*EARN (International Education and Resource Network)
Our school is I*EARN member since 1998.
The students of our school participated in some I*EARN projects: "Flowers
and symbols", "Rare animals in my country", "Local
history", "E'99", "If rocks could talk...what would
they say?" The participation in international projects of our students
improved with the help of Terri Chun, Peace Corp volunteer in our school
during 2000/2002.
I*EARN projects that we proposed.
· "Me and my pet" announced in 1998 and that is still
running, in the third edition.
· "Memories about Communism", begun like a national project
and is running in 2000/2001 as an international one.
