Dobrudjan personalities

Blessed by God, washed by the Danube and by the sea, heated by gently sunbeams, the land of Dobrudja was the cradle of a flourishing civilization from the earliest times. Sung by the Latin poet, Ovidius in his undying verse, blessed by St.Apostle Andrew's steps, the land of Dobrudja preserved in the depth the relics of its millenary past. These relics were revealed by people who deeply loved this place: archaeologists like Vasile Parvan, Vasile Canarache, Adrian Radulescu consecrated all their lives to rake up its history.
Scientists like Grigore Moisil, Ion Borcea, Grigore Antipa, Constantin Bratescu, Anghel Saligny, some of them born in Dobrudja and some of them arrived on this land have worked to bring forward its riches and to show them to the whole world.
Poets, novelists, painters like Panait Cerna, Jean Bart, Lucian Grigorescu described in their works the beauty of this land.
Last but not least must be mentioned the sportsmen and the sportswomen who through their performances flew the Romanian flag on the highest mast: Gheorghe Hagi, Catalina Ponor, Simona Amanar, Ivan Patzaichin, Ilie Floroiu, Daniela Sofronie, Razvan Florea.
These are only some of those wonderful people that put their lives, science and glory in Dobrudja's service.

The project activity has been realised by the 6th gradres from Eforie nord School, coordinated by their teachers, Joita Culea, Floriela Avram and Filiz Ciorabai.
