Historical places

Al Bicerin. Historical café, born in 1763, here you can taste the famous "bicerin", traditional drink made of coffee, chocolate and whipped cream.

Baratti & Milano. Founded in 1875, this magnificently furnished confectioner's was frequented by the intellectuals and poets of the past century.

Cambio. In the past century it was the contact for the most famous personalities of the Italian Risorgimento. Still now it's one of the most impressive and elegant restaurants of the city.

Fiorio. Historical café, known above all for its ice-creams, once considered the "aristocratic café".

Mulassano. We due to its founder the invention of "tramezzini", sandwiches that made the café renowned in all the city.

San Carlo. Opened in 1822 under the arcades of the homonymous square, it was the first coffee shop in Italy to adopt gaslight. In the past it was place of contact for the Risorgimento patriots, at the present it's one of the most prestigious café in Turin, with its precious marbles, statues and gilding.

Stratta. Unavoidable stop for the sweet and cake lovers, this gorgeous confectioner's is well known in Italy since 1836, and still keeps unchanged the nineteenth-century charm of its furniture.

Torino. Café Torino is still considered the "elegant salon" of the city.
