My favourite pets are cats. I love cats because they are very nice. I have got a cat. Her name is Tiffony. She is grey, white and black. She is two years old. Tiffony likes to eat a lot of food: fish, eggs, Kitecat and drink milk or water. Tiffony very likes to sleep. My cat likes to play tag with me. She likes to play with a ball too. At night Tiffony sleeps, and in the morning she gets up and says: my-my-my! I look after my cat. Tiffony is very clever. She has got blue eyes, long hair, a short neck. Tiffony has got white teeth. I buy food for my pet in pet shops.
I think, pets are very good friends. And I like my cat very much.

I have got a hamster. It's my house pet. His name is Bun, because he has got big cheeks. My pet is little. His colour is black and white. He has got four very short legs, a short neck and a very short tail. He is a short-haired animal. He has got little blue eyes, little ears and a little funny nose. I look after him. I feed him. He eats bread, grass, spaghetti, fruit and vegetables. Sometimes he eats sausage. He can't swim, but he likes to wash. He always washes after eating. I like to play with Bun, but he likes to sleep. I love my little Bun and he loves me.

I love all animals on our planet, but my favourite animals are cats. I like white, black, grey, red cats, and if cats are green or blue, I will like them too. I have always wanted to have a cat, and now my dream has become true. You are right! I have a cat! His name is Vasia. He is red. Red cats are my favourite cats. My dear cat has got a short neck and a long tail. Vasia has got big white and sharp teeth, and sometimes I think that his mother or father were tigers or lions. He likes to bite my hands very much! It is a real home tiger! My cat is a very strange beast. He likes hunting very much! Now, in spring, Vasia catches flies and eats them with pleasure. He can catch my legs in a dark room! When he wants to sleep after dinner, he is a very sweet cat. But when night comes, he becomes a really wild beast. He jumps and crosses the room with fire in eyes, and stamps like a horse. My cat is very clever and beautiful too! And I love him very much!

I like all animals. But I like dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, hamsters best of all. I have a dog. Her name is Ze-Ze. Her strain is Labrador. Ze-Ze is not big, her eyes are black, trusty, courageous and very clever. She’s beautiful. Ze-Ze understands many things. Ze-Ze is only
seven months. She likes to swim and to play. There are many funny stories about Ze-Ze. And I want to tell you one. One day our family: my mother, father, sister Natasha, Ze-Ze and I went to the river Sozh. We had a good time there. Then my sister, Ze-Ze and I wanted to swim. The water was very warm. We dabbled, dabbled, “But where is Ze-Ze?” We were looking for her everywhere. But everything was in vain. My mother and father were very unhappy. My father put up tents. It was a cold evening. Suddenly we heard barking. It was Ze-Ze. She had a big fish. We were very happy. Mother and father were laughing at her. She was so dirty! But how had she caught the fish? She had caught it herself with her paw like a bear. This story has a happy end. Ze-Ze has many friends: dogs, cats, mice, even a horse. But I think her best friends are my sister and I. We love her, keep her, we like to walk, play with Ze-Ze. And I know: she is only a dog but she is my best friend. When I come home angry she calms me. When I look in her honest eyes I forget my problems, injuries, cares. I love her so much.

Unfortunately I haven’t got any pet at home. But 5 years ago I had a very beautiful black cat. It was a pussy-cat. Its name was Bagira. My parents presented me with this cat for my birthday. It was on the 28th of February in 1995. It was the best cat I had ever seen. By the way, Bagira was the cat of Bombey species. This the sort of cats that resembles the black Indian leopard. So, you see that my cat was a bit unusual. I liked to play with my cat when I had a free time. It was very funny and amusing. Bagira had big sharp teeth. Maybe it will sound a bit funny, but it was a cat of character. It didn’t like to ride in a car. Being in a car Bagira was sick. From time to time my cat went for a walk and didn’t come back. But once
there was a case when Bagira went out and didn’t appear for 2 months. At that time Bagira was pregnant. And later my father found an advertisement in a newspaper about finding a cat. When he came to see the cat he saw that it was our Bagira. And now, as I have already said, Bagira doesn’t live with us at home. We gave it to my granny because now I have a little sister. But now I want a dog. I like pets very much and I want any pet to live with me in our family.

One morning at breakfast my mother told me a very amusing story about our cat. Our cat’s name is Kuzia. He is very funny and nice. My cat sleeps on the parents’ bed or my bed. Once I went to bed and closed the door of my room. That day my parents watched TV later than ever. Kuzia was very preoccupied. He ran near the sofa and mewed. Maybe he wanted my parents to pay attention to him. At last my parents wanted to sleep. They laid the pillows and blankets on the bed. Kuzia jubilated at once. And when the bed was made my cat jumped on it and lay down in the most comfortable pose. The parents understood that Kuzia had his timetable of the day too!
